Sierra Releases Fall Schedule
INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. - The 2017 fall ball schedule for Sierra Nevada has been finalized.
The Eagles will open up fall play at home for the second annual "Blue-White Game." This event will be a internal scrimmage and a great way to evaluate new and returning talent for the 2017-2018 Eagle Roster.
"The weather is always tricky in early spring in Tahoe. As a result, it is important that we run a heavy fall season," said SNC coach Matt Blamey. "Our goal is to get our systems and personnel in place early, so that we are simply fine-tuning when the regular season rolls around. Without a doubt though, I think the highlight of this fall will be our first ever alumni game. Heading into our fifth year as a program, we now have enough graduates that can come back Tahoe for a competitive and memorable weekend."
After hosting Diablo Valley College on Sept. 16, the Eagles travel to Sonoma State on Sept. 23.
Next up, SNC will host the inaugural Alumni Game during SNC's Family Weekend on Saturday, Sept. 30.
For the final two fall contests, the Eagles will participate in the annual CALI Tournament at UC Davis and then wrap up fall ball with a short trip down the mountain to face the Wolfpack from Nevada on Sunday, Oct. 22.
