Now the competition moves onto the World Wide Web, where the Aggies defense may not be enough.
As expected, No. 10 UC Davis coasted to a first-round win over No. 23 MSU Denver.
The Aggies snatched 448 of the 770 votes cast for a swift, 16 percentage point win.
No. 26 San Diego pulled one of the biggest upsets of the first round, temporarily halting the St. Thomas dynasty - virtually anyway.
The Toreros amassed 556 of the 1,076 votes, providing for a 3.4 percentage point victory.
This will be a big-time Left Coast clash.
